"It is now 8:24pm on a Tuesday in Sydney, Australia. It is basically my bedtime, at least here in Australia. I get tired very early here and since the "Wonder Years" don't come on here at 9:00pm, there is no reason to stay awake.
Right now I am listening to Nirvana Unplugged in New York. Before that I was listening to Green Day "Kerplunk" and "39 smooth." One of my favorite bans right now is Our Lady Peace. I personally think that they are very good.
For everyone who does not know much about me, here is a brief introduction:
I am Venus Ebone Starr Williams. I was born June 17, 1980. I am 6'1" and 169lbs. I have two dogs, my favorite colors are silver and blue. I liked school (surprise!). My favorite subjects were geometry, economics, psychology and physics. I don't like algebra or writing book reports. I have a problem with shopping and going to bed too late. I laugh a lot (and maybe too much) at any and everything. In the future I want to be an architect and a clothing designer (not runway, but stuff in the malls).
Okay, that's me.
I got to Australia last Wednesday night, I've almost been here a week. My sister Serena, played the qualifications and won her first round (main draw) match today.
I played my first round match against No. 19 Ruxandra Dragomir. She had to retire after the first set which I had won 6-4. We were both not playing too well. I think she hurt her back, but I am not sure.
That was Sunday that I played Dragomir. Today, Tuesday, I played Martina Hingis. I was pretty hot and playing a three set, two hour and thirty minute match didn't help much. We played a pretty good match for the fans. I won 3-6, 6-4, 7-5. I was pretty happy because that win really helps my ranking.
On Thursday, I will play Maggie Maleeva - the last of the Maleeva trio.
As for now, I am pretty tired. It's 8:47pm and I still have to do my stretches before I go to bed because I cramped up pretty bad in the beginning of the third set today. I practice tomorrow at 7:00am, so I've got to get to bed."
** Note - sometimes my writing may stray to different subjects, in one paragraph because I am writing as I think; writing as I go. I would NOT write a paper like this."
